The Texas Association for Hispanic Dance and Culture (TAHDC) was founded in July 2003 in answer to the educational and cultural needs of the Texas Hispanic community.
Special thanks to 2009 Salsa Championship a Success! The greatest gift is the gift of ourselves. So many artists, teachers, students and parents gave of themselves --of their talent, time and treasure to make the Salsa Championship a success. To create academic success through the power of dance, culture, and community Who May Participate Public school students 9th through 12th grade. Different categories allow dancers of levels of ability and opportunity to participate. A partner is not required to participate in the workshop, Jack & Jill Competition or Salsa Social. The MissionTo support the development of curricular and extra-curricular salsa programs in Texas public high schools. The Salsa Championship is designed to bring out the best in high school students while at the same time addressing their developmental needs.
